What to expect?
Get ready to explore a new country and connect with an amazing group of fellow queer travellers - that's the heart of what these trips are all about! You'll also have a friendly group leader/social host by your side to keep everything running smoothly and make sure you have an unforgettable experience. Two separate travellers who joined our Thailand trip this year, had such an incredible time that they joined us again on our Philippines trip just a few months later (We spoke with them to find out what made the experience so special — read the full story here.
Nervous about joining?
You’re definitely not alone. Most people felt the same before joining - and they all came away with lifelong friends with reunions happening across the world (literally - check out this article here)- It sounds cliche but everyone who’s joined these trips have always came away with friends for life. Somehow our trips just attract the most friendly, fun and lovely queer people. There will be a WhatsApp group chat set up about a month before the trip so you can start connecting and break the ice before you even arrive. Whether you’re coming solo, with a friend, or with your partner, you'll make a tonne of new friends and have the most incredible time!
Age range & group vibe?
Our trips are designed for LGBTQ+ folks, mainly in their twenties & thirties. Our trips usually attract queer women, trans, and non-binary people, but they’re open to - and we encourage - everyone across the LGBTQ+ community to join! We have 18-35 specific trips and over 30's trips. Our insta gives a good glimpse into the kind of lovely people you can expect to be travelling with!
How much is the deposit?
The deposit varies by trip, but for most it’s just £49. You can then pay the rest through a flexible monthly payment plan, or pay off the full balance 12 weeks before the trip starts! The deposit is non-refundable.
What’s the accommodation?
Accommodation varies from trip to trip, so please refer to the info pack for details on the specific trip you're interested in. All accommodations are mixed-gender, though some restrooms may not be.
Is a group chat made?
Yes! About a month before the trip begins, the operator will create a group WhatsApp chat so everyone can start getting to know each other. It’s a great way to break the ice and build excitement before the adventure begins!
Traveling after the trip ends?
Of course you can continue travelling after the trip ends! By the end of the trip, you'll (hopefully!) have a new group of queer friends, and you're welcome to continue exploring and travelling together for as long as you'd like. The adventure doesn't have to stop when the group trip ends!
Are flights included?
International flights are not included, but for some trips, a domestic flight may be provided.
Can any country join?
People from any country can absolutely join! While we and most of our partners are UK-based, our trips are open to everyone, no matter where you're from! On our most recent surf trip, 28 guests joined from 14 different countries (mostly across Europe & America!)
